3 saisons et 1 corps
What can you give when you’ve lost everything? When you had to leave in a hurry, with no luggage?
Mohammed Al Qudwa is an artist, a poet, a karate champion and an engineering student. At the age of 22, he had already endured five wars in Gaza: in the first one he was just five years old. 3 saisons et 1 corps [3 seasons and 1 body], his first piece, is about a childhood marked already by the sound of bombs exploding, and as a young adult being forced to leave his entire life behind. Alone onstage, he evokes the voices of others, who, like him, experienced the hell of the “humanitarian” corridor of forced evacuation in February 2023. Blending dance, theatre and karate, he dares to say the unspeakable out loud, telling us how the horror of war has changed him – and many others. A “monodrama” about the destruction of a territory and its history, exploring the possibility of hope for the future.
