Traverser

A collective, hybrid creation, TRAVERSER is a piece created with multiple intercuts exploring the concepts of balance, rhythm and traveling.

In the fall of 2025, the choreographer Tchina Ndjidda, the actress Nadia Ghadanfar, and the musician Charles Duytschaever proposed a series of artistic workshops to young residents of Lille, some living in exile, others not. Together they created a performance which included theatre, dance and music, exploring the ways people travel across the world, seeking the subtle balance between the body and the mind, aiming to find and go beyond their individual limits … TRAVERSER is a collective work, based on the partnership between the Singa and La Cimade, Latitudes Contemporaines and the Regional Conservatory of Lille. After two performances at the Festival of International Solidarities and at the Festival Migrantscène in 2025, the group decided to get back together to present the work again at Latitudes Contemporaines.
