Inside Kabul is an animated documentary that follows the parallel destinies of two young Afghan women, Raha and Marwa, since the capture of Kabul by the Taliban.

The performance La Lune and the screening of Inside Kabul will be followed by a discussion with Caroline Gillet, Sayeh Sirvani, Razia Wafaeizada, Kubra Khademi, Esmatullah Alizadeh and surprise guests about the challenges of artistic creation in the face of the Taliban regime.

Multi-instrumentalist, Esmatullah Alizadeh accompanies his voice on the harmonium and the dambura, a traditional Afghan string instrument, in a folkloric, romantic and committed repertoire. He is co-founder of the group Yaran, created in Afghanistan to compose and share Hazara songs. For Latitudes Contemporaines, he is bringing Yaran back on the stage of the GRAND SUD alongside Nematullah Azizi, Hussein Rezai and Emma Cailleaux.
