Stéphanie Aflalo
+ More infoTout doit disparaître
Between theatre and philosophy, video and music, the irresistible actress Stéphanie Aflalo offers us her latest philosophical playtime in the form of a training in mourning, led by her own fatther.
From her father, she inherited a taste for play and farce. She’s been dreaming of bringing him on stage – forever. In Tout doit disparaître, she imagines a dialogue with him, designed to repeat itself eternally. Echoing her childhood living room, she sets up a screen above the piano, and interacts with her father’s video image, forever fixed in the mini-DV tape. An impossible attempt, solemn and absurd, to put at play the adage that ‘to philosophise is to learn how to die’.
