Under the alias Wonderbraz, Yuna Le Braz has been mixing masterfully and for the past 20 years music from all over the world which one doesn’t get to hear often: Popular, traditional, ancient and contemporary musical forms which she brought back from her many travels to mix and remix and/or which have been given to her by friends from far away.
Genuine treasures, collector items, electro-exotica, spaced-out hip hop melodies, multi-ethnic musical cocktails guaranteed to set the dancefloor on fire! Guided by sheer instinct along with her vast knowledge of the musical planet, Wonderbraz balances and harmonizes naturally the many different sounds of the world.
A true researcher and lover of non-formatted sounds who is most concerned with the free-flowing exchange of artists and musical forms, she represents much more than a mere messenger: She is a cultural activist!

One might appreciate French Peking duck, or a Scottish pizza, maybe Vietnamese couscous or even Spanish crêpe; but for those who would like to push the boundaries further, you will have to taste the musical melange from Wonderbraz !
At this hour of global darkness, when people want to close the borders, Wonderbraz fights for free movement, to open the minds of men, women & cultures and advocates for human gathering.
A kaleidoscopic vision, repeating sequences of images of worldwide dancers, Breton melodies and international voices… All are mixed; no age limits, no national barriers … the world fusion, captured by the five artists, arise from the waves, rhythm, voices, beats, and lead to the building of an imaginary heritage on the roots of our ancestors. As one stamps their feet, claps their hands, the body finds a way to its origin and a new experience emerges. Suddenly, traditional sounds become contemporary, as it seems to burst from nowhere taking the path of the trans and the communion to a new ceremony.
Yuna is like that, a sort of succession of skies, therefore of skies, in perpetual revolutions, rough, calm then agitated, clear and dark, with intertwined shadows. This is where she becomes a DJ, a rare woman where big or small guys are kings, whom she is always ahead of, because she has a particular duende, this kind of rare instinct, this amplitude of the sensitive and the taste, this unique capacity of otherness, without lure, without hubbub, just with the true truth of someone who is looking for the other, for the others, down to the marrow, down to the bone, down to the heart. In 2010, she joined the Ateliers du Vent collective in Rennes, which is developing an extraordinary artistic adventure, where theatre, music, writing and plastic arts meet… Wonderful people. And a place where she feels wonderful! Yuna, all this time, has become Wonderbraz. She plays musical ping-pong with Sal Ricalde, from Tijuana, the Dizzy Sound System, or mixes with video artist Thierry Salvert. With Erik Marchand, a singer who listens to the world, she has a blast and it shows when they rock out to music from the East. Wonderbraz is also a thematic tailor-made band, for an event, a festival. In fact, everything is a pretext to go fishing for unexpected music. Wonderbraz takes people out of their bubble. Wonderbraz pulls people out of their jumpers. Wonderbraz can play pure techno, hip hop, rock, as well as take the audience on a journey, to Brazil, Africa, Turkey, Romania…
