The Latitudes Contemporaines team wishes you a wonderful 2026, filled with shared humanity and open horizons.

To kick off the year, we are already opening a window to spring: join us from 4 to 26 June 2026 for the 24th edition of the Latitudes Contemporaines festival! This year, the programme will place a special emphasis on artistic voices from the Mediterranean basin, with a particular focus on Lebanon, Palestine and North Africa. International in its DNA, the festival will also welcome artists from other horizons: Afghanistan, Belgium, Cape Verde, Serbia… These landscapes will be traversed by the blossoming, on stage, of intimate stories that shift reference points and become the breeding ground for revolutions.

For more than three weeks, in the Lille metropolitan area, the public will encounter artistic forms where fiction and documentary, collective memories and living archives intersect.
We won’t say any more for now, but we’ll leave you with a first glimpse of this year’s colours, proposed by Zineb Benassarou, who invites us to dive beneath the surface together.
