Weaving theatre with philosophy, and playing with words about death.
Stéphanie Aflalo offers a short performance in line with her work on the deadlocks of discursive language. Joining her in banging their heads against the barriers of language are Grégoire Schaller, performer and choreographer, and Jérôme Chaudière, actor, with whom she shares the stage. Torn between their love of silliness and their desire for seriousness, Jérôme, Grégoire and Stéphanie will come face to face with that which makes play both necessary and ridiculous: death.
“VANITÉS” COLLECTION
A sub-chapter of “Récréations philosophiques”, the “Vanités” are short performative works about death, which can be performed together or separately.
Vanité #1
In July 2024, she created MÉDITATION as part of Vive le sujet! Tentatives at the Festival d’Avignon, once again blending theater and philosophy, and playing with words about death.
