LA BALLADE DES SIMPLES
Choreographer Ondine Cloez invites us here for a simple stroll. Accompanied of her friends and performers, Anne Lenglet and Clémence Galliard, she created a vocal and choreographic score based on the 13th century treatise of the School of Salerno on the art of living in good health.
Inspired by the wild herbs, plants and aromatics they will encounter during this walk in the gardens of Lille, the three accomplices will tell us the story of poems in alexandrines dealing with colds, sleep and passionate love like summer, cherry or wine. Far from a historical or aesthetic reconstruction of the work, it is with the language, their imaginary and their bodies of contemporary dancers, as well as with interpretations in-depth and undisciplined, that they will share their emotions by playing mischievously on a gap between what is said, what we see and what we perceive.
