Conference — The invisibilization of women in arts

On June 18 at GRAND SUD, a round-table discussion will focus on the invisibility of women and the effects of gaslighting in the arts and culture.
From 6pm to 7pm, author Hélène Frappat, whose 2023 book Le Gaslighting ou l’art de faire taire les femmes (éditions de l’Observatoire), will be joined by journalist Nicolas Truong, head of Le Monde’s “Idées – Débats” section, Morgane Bourhis, director of Amnesty International France, Jenny Bernardi, member of the college of the HF Hauts-de-France movement, and Réjane Sourisseau, researcher in cultural studies at the crossroads of professional, academic and activist networks.

From 7pm to 7:45pm, the discussion will continue with choreographer and activist Mamela Nyamza, just before the performance of her show HATCHED ENSEMBLE.
These meetings are held in partnership with Amnesty International.

With the support of the Lieux Culturels Pluridisciplinaires de la Ville de Lille
