Il y a toujours un enfant oublié quelque part
Il y a toujours un enfant oublié quelque part [There is always a forgotten child somewhere] is a collective creation in which sisterhood is the source driving the sharing of stories.
Over a period of 15 years, each year a group of young people accompanied by the ALEFPA participates in the creation of a short form work, working also with an artist invited by Latitudes Contemporaines. This year it is the director and actor Nadia Ghadanfar who is accompanying the group and weaving together their stories.
“I often work with the idea of exile, of separation, of somewhere we were forced to leave. Speaking about the journey which took us away from our homes is not easy. But we don’t have to be together to share a story. Our story awaits us perhaps somewhere else. In a book, a tale, a song, a theatrical script – we have no way of knowing. We will try to find these stories together: we may find each other in a place we have never been.” – Nadia Ghadanfar
