Mademoiselle

Channeling the historic sounds of the blues and raï, Mademoiselle is an all-star-band, a new, explosive trio combining three talents at the perfect intersection of their three musical journeys.

When Sofiane Saidi, Rodolphe Burger and Mehdi Haddab get together for a one-night-only concert at the Dynamo in Pantin, invited by Banlieues Bleues, the choice is clear. They know each other well, have at least figuratively crossed swords many times but have never actually played a concert together, so a trio performance seems inevitable. An album is underway and a tour is planned: ahem, sir, madam, Mademoiselle is happening!

Nasima Omid

She started playing music at the age of 15 in her hometown of Bamiyan, Afghanistan. Trained in singing, zerbaghali and dombra, Nasima Omid has performed at major festivals such as the SAARC festival in Bamiyan, the Potato Flower and the Silk Road festival… In France since September 2021, she creates a solo on her repertoire of traditional Afghan percussions and songs. After her first appearance at Lille Sud on the occasion of the International Women’s Rights Day, Nasima Omid is back on the stage of the Grand Sud for Latitudes Contemporaines, for our great pleasure!
